Am feeling a little under the weather today, caught a cold at the start of the week due to some... silliness last Sunday. Stu, Jodie, Kurt, Kaoru and I went to the baseball, a day game between the Softbank Hawks and the Chuinichi Dragons. Great game, the Hawks won in the 7th inning hitting a home run with loaded bases. We all got a little merry on gin and juice (yes, you take in your own alcohol, so long as it`s in plastic bottles), and after the game we headed to Momochi beach to have beer and pizza. The weather was wonderful and we were all quite quite drunk. So when Stu suggested taking a dip, we were all for it. Well, some of us weren`t, but we soon took care of that. The only drawback was none of us had bathers, or it would seem, brains, because we all ended up swimming fully clothed, jeans, t-shirts, thongs, you name it. There was a fairly long walk back to the subway station after that and it was getting dark and a little cooler, so naturally I woke up the next day feeling hungover and feverish. I`m a miserable sickie and Stu`s dealt with his fair share of abuse over the last few days. So now I`m heading out to find some little gift to make it up to him. Maybe a donut. We`re both very excited. Only 5 more days of work and then it`s off to Thailand. I`ve had my injections, Stu decided they were too expensive and he`d just risk it. He`s an idiot. If he gets sick he then has to endure the six days on a train and then a flight from Moscow before he can even begin to look for a doctor. On that note, both of us decided to forgo the bother of malaria medication and just won`t go to areas that are affected.
